It happens in a moment. It's as if the weight of the world comes down on you. There's a shift, a moment of dizziness, disorientation. Then nothing. In the next moment of awareness, you're lying in the desert, the sun beating mercilessly down. There's no one to greet you, no one to explain why you're here or where you are. There's a rucksack next to you, with a day's supply of simple food and water and a handheld communication device. Call for help. Walk until you can't anymore. Head for the ramshackle buildings on the horizon, if you wish, or go further into the desert. Whatever you do, get under cover. And do be sure to check in. They'll find you otherwise. |

vanad is a panfandom survival/sci-fi game set on a backwater desert moon and draws upon elements from various classic sci-fi and horror themes. Characters are drawn into a war in which they are the weapons. Do well and you'll be rewarded. Rebel and... well. Just don't. No one wants those consequences. Canon, AU, and original characters accepted. Characters are given ample opportunities to explore both on- and off-world.
