There are only five. That's easy, right?
1: Be a decent human being.
Please. Don't be a douche. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect.
2: Make your activity checks.
We need players to be active to keep a game running. Please make your activity checks.
Those who repeatedly miss their activity checks will be placed on probation until some improvement is seen. In that time, players on probation will not be permitted to app new characters.
3: No god-moding/power-playing/metagaming.
These terms are defined as follows:
These behaviors annoy your fellow players and are really really bad habits to be in in the first place. No one is invincible, the other player's character may not want to look at you, no really Jim Kirk is a real person and doesn't need to know that he's a TV show somewhere else.
4: IC =/= OOC.
Just because someone's character is mean doesn't mean they hate you or that they're a bad person. It means their character is mean. It has no reflection on you or on them.
5: IC actions will have IC consequences.
If you murder a fellow player character or an NPC, your hosts won't take it kindly. They need all of the data they can gather and you've deprived them of it. If you steal from other people, they won't like it and are liable to react accordingly. Your character's actions in-game will have equal and opposite reactions in-game.

3: No god-moding/power-playing/metagaming.
These terms are defined as follows:
God-moding: An invincible or unharmable character; an omniscient or unreasonably prescient character.
Power-playing: Taking control of another player's character in your responses without previous permission from said player.
Metagaming: Utilizing OOC knowledge in IC situations (using game information announcements, etc. in play); "4th walling" other characters without previous permission from other players.
These behaviors annoy your fellow players and are really really bad habits to be in in the first place. No one is invincible, the other player's character may not want to look at you, no really Jim Kirk is a real person and doesn't need to know that he's a TV show somewhere else.
